Fantastic news! WooHoo! |
I am very happy Mylee is home and snuggling with you. Hoping she had a great day today. |
This made my morning. I'm so happy your baby is home and doing well. |
Mylee is back at the animal hospital and our hearts are just broken. I could tell she was happy to be home Monday evening and some of her personality was shining through even trying to lick silverware in the dishwasher and she ate well. But our luck didn't last. She woke up in a great deal of pain, and stopped wanting to eat. She was taking water but when she started to vomit it back up we took her back out to our vet. She has been consulting a specialist over Mylee's case who has ordered a gall bladder sonogram and wanted to check for pancreatitis. She feels that what ever was in her gut from her first admission should have resolved itself by now, and that we are now dealing with a new issue. I'm so confused as to how we ever got to this point. Our little dog so full of life now looks so pitiful and sad. I'm beating myself up over how she could have crashed so fast. The only thing I did was feed her, and by my calculations, it was by the amount of time I fed her to it making it through her stomach and into her intestines, that she started to exhibit pain. I am feeding her (and Moka) Taste of the Wild, Salmon. Can this be the issue? Over her life (5 years) I have switched from blue buffalo limited ingredient salmon and potato to Taste of the Wild Salmon off and on. This is not a new bag and I feed these two foods because Moka gets real itchy on other brands/flavors. Mylee on the other hand doesn't exhibit any allergies/itchiness to any food. For those of you who know nutrition well, can this be part of Mylee's issue? Too high fat? Etc. These are all just thoughts as I sit here waiting for my morning update. I am so sorry to you all for the emotional roller coaster, but that is exactly what the last 8 days has been like. One day a good report, then the next, not so good and now the scariest feeling of all. |
Shelly, don't beat yourself up like this. You are doing all you can. I will keep Mylee and you in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully they will figure this out and she will be on the mend soon. |
Oh no I feel so bad for you and Mylee. But you are doing everything you can. She knows you love her and your trying to make her better I will continue to pray for both of you. And for the specialist that they figure this out very soon Big hugs |
Shelly, you don't need to apologize to us for an emotional roller coaster. We are worried about Mylee and you. I am very sorry that Mylee is still having problems. Praying for the doctors to be able to discover what exactly is ailing her. Praying for her healing so that she can get back to being herself and taking adorable photos with Moka. {{{{{hugs to you}}}}} |
Been away for a while and just reading your post. Sorry to hear about your baby's ordeal and your roller coaster of emotions over it all. As I have NO experience with your sweet baby's issues, I wanted to drop in to say that positive thoughts are sent your way from B.C., Canada. Fingers and toes crossed that this will soon be behind you and Mylee!! Certainly looking forward to your next post. Hope it positive!! |
Shelly, I'm sorry Mylee had to go back to the vet and am praying through tests they find out exactly what is going on. I have no input for you food wise, if it would cause this happening. Sending you and Mylee hugs. |
MyLee So very sorry your poor baby is sick and in the hospital again. You must be so sad and disappointed she is having to leave you again. But she is in the right place for expert care and the necessary tests. Yes it could be the richness/fat content of the regular food if MyLee has a digestive issue like Pancreatitis, but I would have thought that test would have been done when she was admitted earlier. So praying she is diagnosed soon and on the way to good health again. It is so stressful waiting for tests and I can see how you are feeling sick from the rough roller coaster ride. But things will get better, she is being well taken care of. Poor baby, hope she comes home again soon. Hugs to you. :-) |
I am so sorry that Mylee had a setback. Please don't worry about us, we are all more worried about you and Mylee you are the ones who are riding this roller coaster. I know how upset I feel when Buster is not feeling well so my heart goes out to you during this time. We are all praying that this issue resolves itself and that Mylee will be back to her sweet self soon. |
I am so sorry Mylee isn't feeling well. I pray they will find out what the issue is so it can be fixed. Please don't be so hard on yourself, we know how much you love your baby and know you would do anything to make her better. |
