Yeah I'll try another vet but that will be 3 vets in less than 2wks. Hopefully I get something resolved

The first vet didn't want to test him at all for anything the 2nd one did but I called her twice already once for him not eating she said wait or just come for under skin fluids then I called today for the blood and she said if I don't see anything in a few hrs he's probably fine and it could be a nose bleed

See that's why I was so worried because he cried to alert me I seen it and freak called all the vets I been to were close and I didn't have a after hour number and I didn't even know they even had after hour number you guys are educating me more than the vets them selves

That's what everyone is saying you guys actually had me leave the first vet Because he told me wash my pup with head and shoulders and he didn't need testing it didn't sit well. The 2nd vet seem better and little more educated with yorkies! Like I told the last person on here its like they want me to come in already knowing what's wrong with him.

They can't just tell you over the phone you have to take him in and let them examine him. And with that much blood he needs to go ASAP. No one can diagnose over the internet or the phone because they could be missing something or misdiagnose him. When they examine him they know what to be looking for.

I'd request at least an x-ray to check for bladder stones or a foreign object in the intestines. With him being so small it may be difficult to get a blood sample from him. The color of the pee spots on the pad look a bit dark and orangy to me, but I'm looking through a PC at it so color may be different than real.

How short did you cut his nail? Could you have cut his quick in his nail & he bled?
You keep saying nose bleed...Why would their nose bleed bc it's hot...:confused:

I will request that hopefully I get answer I hate when I go and it's like I still barely know anything

No I said I was going to cut his nails today that pads from the morning. He didn't have any cuts at all. And I don't know why it would be Or wouldn't be I'm no vet that's what I was told

You said his nail was really sharp so you just trimmed them...looks like his nail was cut too short & the blood drizzled onto the pad. But if you didn't cut his nails, then I have no idea what it could be either...I would take the pee pad w/the blood on it to the vet.

No someone else on here said is his nail sharp I said yes they are I'm going to trim them today. It's not his nails because his body had no cuts if it's not his nose like the vet said then it had to be internal

Actually, you said twice that you cut his nails. In the first quote you said "I just cut his nails down" and in the second quote you said "so I just trim them"


And I have never seen a dog get a nosebleed in 80 degree heat.

Take the dog to a vet and get it the help it needs, and stop making excuses


I'm confused.... He was sick the other day and you took him to the vet, but you won't take him for bleeding that you have no idea where it's coming from?? Shaking can be a sign of pain...

Clearly I said before I will trim his nails! Never seen a dog get a nose bleed either I never said I knew where I blood came from or I wouldn't have post the picture if u knew. Yes he was sick the other day due to who knows what all test came back negative . The vet said wait so I did what I was advised. But thanks
