| Great news! The shunt is on its way and the plan is to have the surgery next week. Sprite has had a good week with no seizures, so lots to be happy about I will post her surgery date as soon as we have it confirmed, but again thank you all so much for your support and best wishes. We're almost there! |

| What a long road you've been on with her and I know you must be relieved that surgery will actually take place next week, though more than a little scared. That's where YT will help out and support you through the day and through the post-op period and rehab. Prayers and hopes continue and it sounds so encouraging that she's not having seizures. Stay strong and courageous and give that little Sprite a few extra hugs from Tibbe and me.

| Great news for Sprite. I'm so glad you connected with Dogwood neurology and they could help your surgeon finally source the shunt. Hopefully all will go well with the surgery and Sprite will go on to live a long life. I'll keep you both in my prayers and will be watching for updates.

| I'm expecting a call any time now from the hospital to confirm they've received the shunt. We're just coming off a long weekend so it probably slowed things down a bit. As soon as I get that call I will update. In the meantime Sprite is stable and being adorable |
