Sorry for the silence on the forum. I've been very busy handling this issue and I'm now looking at two options, potentially three to make this surgery happen for Sprite. Fingers crossed we can make this happen quickly and at a cost that we can manage. She is doing as well as can be expected in the meantime. No more seizures since Monday but lots of ataxia episodes. These can be a side effect of the phenobarbital. Thank you all again. Your words of support are very helpful to us

Just remember that I am on the route to Michigan and if you need an overnight stay either on the way down to either Michigan or Buffalo, you are more than welcome to overnight stay in our home.

We've had a very positive day and I think we'll be able to move forward very soon here with Sprites surgery. I'm waiting confirmation of some details but they should be sorted out on Monday. Thank you all for your continuing support
