| Bloody mucous My little yorkie miso is 4 years old and today he started pooping bloody mucous. There is actually no fecal matter it's all blood and mucous. Started pink at 11 and now it's 3 and it's dark red. He's acting normal, and has an appt at the emergency clinic at 5. I'm so worried for him and I have no idea why he would be sick. I have ruled out the easiest Hasn't been in contact with other dogs Is not physically injured externally Is not a hemorrhoid Hasn't changed foods Hasn't eaten people food Hasn't had no treats I hope he didn't eat something that caused an internal injury like a shell (we live in hawaii and have a large collection) I'm just so worried :-(

| Being on an island they are so packed all the time with the mass amount of people trying to get in that they take appointments. Some told me flat out they couldn't see me at all today

| About 3:50PM... I'd just go now and wait there, they may see sooner him if they see he's bleeding.

| Run to the vet. It could be HGE which comes on fast and is fatal in 24 to 48 hours. My little Benji was on an IV for 3 days. There is no known cause. One minute they are fine and the next mthat fast, they are dying. Don't ever wait if there is blood. I'm so thankful to God that I didn't wait and see, or she ould be gone now. |

They ran a few tests refuse to do X-rays or an IV and said sometimes this is normal for dogs. This has never happened before. Not only that we are forking out money for this ER visit. I'm felling so frustrated
