I'm the same way! Even though I know that I know the dose for Benadryl, I still will check it sometimes. Finally what I did so that I'd always have it ready-to-give is just pre-cut a bunch of them and put them in a little baggie in my doggie ER kit. Knowing me though, I'll probably *still* double check, lol! | I have never used Benadryl in pill form on my dogs. I have the Children's liquid always on hand. I worry that, if an allergic reaction occurs, I might not get Katie to swallow a pill. It's great that you have them pre-cut.
I've never given Immodium, but I recently heard from my friend's vet that it could cause great discomfort for her twelve pound dog. He advised her never to use Immodium on a small dog. |
