So, very sorry for your loss of you baby Chance. There is nothing like the unconditional love and the companionship of these little ones. They have a way of stealing our hearts. Its so hard not having them with you, I know, I too just lost my sweet gal who was a very sick little pup and on the same day that you lost your pup. Although from very different circumstances but still just as hard and I am still morning her loss. For us we have three other pups to fill our days and to keep us busy but for you maybe a pup is exactly what it will take to start the healing process.

I wish much luck in finding that new addition to the family, that pup to love as much as you did your boy Chance !!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Having your baby die so soon is heartbreaking. As for getting another, I would. When Ole Girl died I couldn't stand being alone. My husband almost forced me into getting another, when I met Gunner I knew I did the right thing. They can never replace your beloved Chance, but you will love a new puppy in a different way and it does help heal the pain of loss.

Hello everyone, I've read all of the sweet post you all left for me. This is to JuliannaB, I didn't come up with the name Chance. I bought him when he was 7months old he already had the name. I asked the owner about his name. She said he was the runt if the liter& he almost died at birth. So his name was Last Chance".. He was full of laughter an so much love in his little body. He was all red an so small. He was my life an I know he's in a better place , but it hurts I can't see him, love him or just watch him run around my house. He would get on the carpet or my bed an snake around. Everyone wanted to see him snake around. He loved the attention.. Xmas was hard for me I miss him. I know he's with God and he's waitin on me. Thank ~you all ...

Thank~you all for the sweet words .. I hope everyone had a good Xmas. I have a T cup poodle that was Chance's buddy and I think he knows he's gone.Im going to buy me another yorkie when I can. My chance would talk to me, and my husband would always say dont get him talking. Lol I swear he was saying Mommy & he loved me. I see alot of Prety babies on here, I wouldn't wish anyone's babies to go. But we all know we all have to go sooner or later.. Ty for everything ...

Jan - Sorry for your loss You will see Chance again ... any time you want ... close your eyes and take a deep breath ... he is there.

I don't know that we're ever "ready" for the next baby. I didn't last long, my wife contacted a breeder to ask about litters. I felt a little uncomfortable and rushed ... but I do love our new guy (not so new anymore).

We accept that they are all unique and different. You can't compare the next to Chance, he is one in a million. But you can love and snuggle and get sugars again.

My little Rowdy died December 8th and I haven't left the house since, crying every day, missing him so much that I feel physically ill. He was my heart. He had a seizures after Dental surgery at home and didn't come out of it and I blame myself for letting the dental surgeon perform the procedure and cause him unnecessary suffering. He also had a liver shunt, so I think he didn't tolerate the anesthesia and the toxins got the best of him. He had a history of hypoglycemic coma and seizure episodes throughout his. I am so sorry you are in such pain. It's awful. He was 8 years old. Everyone said I kept him alive better than anyone might and this offers no comfort.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry. Yorkies are not prone to seizures, poorly bred yorkies are prone to illnesses due to said poor breeding. Your baby is in heaven, ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN...your baby will be waiting for you, I promise...I'm so sorry you went through this.


Please before you get another pup, read here, save yourself the heartache and get a pup from a reputable breeder. There is never a guarantee in people or pups that something won't go wrong...but when you buy from a reputable breeder you have a very good chance of getting a healthy pup.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. I am so very sorry for your loss. I can feel your pain in your words. I'm praying that you find peace and that God guides you to another yorkie. He will not be Chance. But, he will be a puppy or rescue in need of a new mom.

But, please do your research and make sure you find a reputable breeder. There is a lot of information on here to help you and so many knowledgeable people, as well.

I'm hoping you are doing some better. Remember that Chance has left his paw prints on your heart. Please update and let us know how you are doing.

I know how u feel, my baby girl died all of a sudden, it will be a year in february, she was my life, I do have another one but she seems to be a bit sickly
