I'm so sorry for your loss. Having your baby die so soon is heartbreaking. As for getting another, I would. When Ole Girl died I couldn't stand being alone. My husband almost forced me into getting another, when I met Gunner I knew I did the right thing. They can never replace your beloved Chance, but you will love a new puppy in a different way and it does help heal the pain of loss.
