| Oliver Is Scheduled For Surgery Just a fast update about Oliver. He has been scheduled forcataract surgery on Nov 29th. Finallly he will be able to see perfectly from both eyes. Please keep him in your thoughts. He has gone through so much in his short 3 years between his liver, his bladder and now his eyes. He's such a good boy he doesn't deserve any more problems. Hopefully after he heals from his eye surgery he be able to finally get neutered. We've been trying to neuter him for 2 1/2 years but we were unable to. Oliver is such a good boy and I know I shouldn't say this but of all our dogs, he's my favorite. |

| Oliver Poor baby, I am so sorry he has to go through the other eye cataract surgery. So many issues in one so young and I feel for him and you. Our pets are such innocents and do not understand what is happening to them when they get sick. I am sure you dread another post cataract healing process, but at least you know what to expect, and he did so well last time. Praying that all goes well with the surgery and that he is soon able to see well in BOTH eyes. Let us hope that this is it for little Oliver and that he is well enough after the surgery to get neutered at last! Please keep us posted on his progress. |

| I will keep Oliver in my prayers. I didn't know he had cataracts. That's so sad, because he's so young.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | \I too pray Oliver heals well from his cataract surgery. I wouldn't stress at all about neutering him. If you are a responsible pet owner, keep him on lead, his behaviour is fine as it is, and there is no medical reason to neuter such as a retained testicle, then just let him be the wonderfull boy that he is. Such a young man to have had so many health issues over his short life. I sincerely hope all goes well for you and him from now on.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Best of luck to you and Oliver. I'm sure the surgery will go just great! Keep us updated on his progress, and give him a puppy kiss for me.

| Oliver had his cataract surgery yesterday and he did fine. He is little unhappy with his collar on right now but they cut his collar much smaller than last time and he's been able to manage much better. I am so glad he's all over it now and the post op starts. I think sometimes it's worse than the surgery. Well anyway Oliver and I send you people our thanks for thinking of Oliver and for the prayers. Oh and by the way, I hope everybody had a wonderful thanksgiving. |

| Oliver is doing great. He's eating pretty well and his eye outside of looking very bloodshot looks good. My friend says he looks like Peter Lorre with his half closed eye. Tomorrow he goes for his first recheck. Hopefully he'll be able to get rid of the collar soon. Last time the collar came off in a week, I hope it's the same this time although it's easier to catch him now because he can't hide under the bed when it comes to med time. |
