Buster Might Have Lymphoma :(

Just checking in to see how you and Buster are doing...always, so nice to read everyone's post and see all the love and support for you and little Buster. I love the picture you posted he sure looks happy and content! God put him in the right hands and loving home to be loved and taken care of! He has touched so many lives and I know how much he has touched yours and your husbands not to mention your girls too! I hope Buster has many many more good days then bad and I hope you know we always have you in our thoughts and prayers...big hugs!

Thank you, to both of you! I can't help but do an update, because Buster has had two really good days in a row. I feel absolutely positive that his enlarged lymph nodes have become smaller this week. That has to help him feel better. He is certainly running around and barking, etc. I know this status will not last forever, but I am thrilled that for now he seems to be feeling great. One day at a time.... Also, I think the prednisone and Pepcid ac, are contributing to helping him feel like his old self.

Lisa, I'm so sorry to read that Buster has been sick. Hopefully he will do well. One of the nurses at our hospital has a beagle who had lymphoma and received chemo about three years ago. Bailey is still kicking, eating her tomatoes off her plants and walking my friend a couple of miles every day

I do think that he thinks he Super Dog sometimes! I feel certain that the prednisone and Pepcid ac are helping him feel pretty much normal.

Thank you both of you for keeping Buster in your prayers. It is working! He went for chemo yesterday and a checkup. Most of his lymph nodes are smaller than before. (8/9 nodes) His treatment appears to be making him feel better for now. I realize that his condition is terminal, but I am so glad that right now he is enjoying taking walks, barking at interlopers on the sidewalk, eating whatever he can beg , chewing, and getting scratched. Pretty much his normal life around this house.
