Thank you. He's feeling much better but he's still a bit irritated by the dead skin. I just gave him a bath in hopes that it would make him less itchy.

I just read your thread. My vet said the exact same thing that it was a classic looking spider bite. I hope Gizmo is ok. I might have gotten really lucky because Max is a bigger Yorkie. I'm still kicking myself for waiting a few days to go to the vet.

Thanks, Karen. It is all just so creepy. You can't look back...his did not look as bad as Gizmo's did...not sure I would have gone to the vet either.
All that matters is that he is fine now! I am hopeful Gizmo will be as well.

Wow, it's crazy how many spider bites we are seeing on here. I'm glad you took him to another vet to get a second opinion. I hope it heals up quickly!
