I was told by both doctors that there was no sign whatsoever of severe pulmonary hypertension. They say they do not know how the discrepancy between the two echoes, but clearly their echo shows absolutely no pulmonary hypertension. So of course we are all thrilled to pieces. Would love to meet with all our friends periodically without having to bring up the "Cassie is Dying thread." Anyone know how to do this? I hate to take up room on the "sick and injured thread if I don't have to, and also, trying to find this thread to bump up in order to reach everyone who has been a part of this miracle group can be daunting. Would anyone know how to keep this group together which could be found at any time but under another name? Just wondering if it could be done.

Thanks so much for all your help and love, we hold you close in our heart, as we do each and everyone of you wonderful miracle friends of Cassie. It has been so good to get in touch with you all. Miss you all as you are like family to me. Lately have been very blue, as I am missing Muffin so so much. Crying a lot lately but feel so grateful to have my baby Cassie. My dad is encouraging me to look for another pup, but I'm not sure if it is right. I know it sounds VERY crazy, but it feels as if I am being disloyal to Muffin. AndI know in my heart, no one could ever replace my Muffy's. Its a big decision.

No, it does not sound crazy at all. When/if you are ready, you will know. People grieve in different ways and over varying times. Just last night I was looking for some t-shirts for a friend of mine whose pup is losing her hair due to a medical issue. I ran across the first sweater that my precious foster Gabby had come to me in. No way am I ready to part with that now...who knows, maybe never. Just take things a day at a time, Shellie. I am just so happy for you and Cassie and that things have worked out.

The avatar is my Cookie a yorkie mix I fostered and adopted years ago. :) Thanks...she is a real character! She won the YT Halloween contest a few years ago. Here is the link for a little chuckle. :)

:) She is a trip...she will do almost anything for the camera. She's a nutjob and I never thought she would be good for pics, but one day I tried it and she sat perfectly still with sunglasses on...so we started doing other stuff.

Hehe...that is one of my favorites of her. It really fits her crazy personality. I laughed through the entire photo shoot. Had lots of fun with it and every time I take the camera out, she is one of the "ready" models. :)

Haven't been on hardly at all in a few months. They found out my dad's bouts with pneumonia during the last year and a half was caused from aspiration. He ended up with a feeding tube and came back home in late Sept. We lost him on Nov 13 and I have been to devastated to do much of anything. Shelley tonight I decided to check on our yorkietalk friends and found your post and read it from beginning to end. You have been through so much. It's so very hard and stressful to take care of our sick babies and it sounds like Cassie was extremely sick. And then to also be responsible for a sick parent. And if you've not been tested enough to have to lose one of your precious babies. You have to be one of the strongest persons around. I don't know that I could have managed it all and you have done a wonderful job.
I am praying that Cassie will continue to improve everyday. She is such a beautiful little girl. I'm also praying for you and your dad. He needs you to take care of him but you've got to talk care of yourself too. Please remember to do that.
