| We had this happen when I was about 10... one of my mothers Poodles was at the groomers, a friend of hers, and was not teathered on the table.. The minute me and mom walked in Bob-Bon flew off the table to greet us and hit the tile! She broke her back leg.... Nothing in the world can even compare to the screams that dog let out! Nothing! It was so aweful! Thank god it was not the end of her, but she never did fully recover, she limped from then on... It happens so fast and you can't react fast enough!

I teach everyone who visits me how to hold a Yorkie so it can't get the "push off" to leap. They are so fast and have no fear of the jump. ![]() So sad.

Look what happend and this wasn't even an xtreme Tiny that people THINK they want all the time. What a horrible and tragic accident. I will be attaching a bungee to all my Yorkies after reading this. Can't be too cautious!.. Again, I am sorry for their loss

What a tradegy!!! I am so very sorry for your friend, sending hugs her way. I think we all need a heads up -- sometimes we just get too comfortable in the way we do things and it opens the door to accidents. There have been several times that my furkids have "almost" jumped out of my arms. They can ve very squirmy. hugs and prayers

Why couldn't broken legs be fixed? If a vet told me that, I would go get another opinion!
