We had this happen when I was about 10... one of my mothers Poodles was at the groomers, a friend of hers, and was not teathered on the table.. The minute me and mom walked in Bob-Bon flew off the table to greet us and hit the tile! She broke her back leg.... Nothing in the world can even compare to the screams that dog let out! Nothing! It was so aweful! Thank god it was not the end of her, but she never did fully recover, she limped from then on...
It happens so fast and you can't react fast enough!
