| ![]() Awe...I think Olivia has beautiful hair! Love the little peek-a-boo look with her bangs pulled back in the car today, She's adorable...I'd keep her hair. ![]() The photo with her hair in the braid and her little tongue out, simply gorgeous! ![]() |

Wish we could have it both ways -- puppy cuts with long hair to pull out on occasion. As pretty as her hair is, I agree it isn't worth torturing her or yourself.

| ![]() What a gorgeous little sweetheart! Praying she gets better soon! I have a few questions: The vets are trying the ursodial to see if it helps? When Tink took it, she had to take it for 8 months, and I believe they said it takes a month or more to start working. Did Gall Bladder issues show in her bloodwork or any other tests? You mentioned that Denamarin was a big pill for her. They make different sizes, the first is a small round pill, for cats and dogs up to 12 lbs. Tink is on the next size, up to 34 lbs, and it's an oblong tablet. She gets it on an empty stomach, 1 hour before a meal (as stated on the box). I have to use a pill popper on her, bc these meds cannot be chewed or broken, as they will not work. Nutramax Labs does make a chewable form of Denamarin (Tink did not care for it). Hope this helps...

I will see how it goes tonight with her meds. She is not in the fighting mood she was in ... so maybe I will get that thing down her. It is the small one! It is blue...it is just that she is very tiny and has a tiny mouth. I use the pill popper and the pills come right back out...so I use my finger when that happens. She is a mess! I will look into that chewable if I cannot get her to keep these down...thanks for letting me know about them!

| ![]() Olivia picks at her food in the morning, but by the afternoon she is ravenous! ![]() She has an appt on Thursday with the specialist....then I will really know how she is. So scary to be dealing with this and not knowing what is going on inside her. ![]()

| ![]() Thanks everyone. She really is perky today...hopefully that is a good sign. Thursday can't come fast enough. I am almost tempted to take her to my vet and just do blood work but I know that is really waste of money.

I don't know if dogs are the same, but when I had Gall stones, food more often than not would make my stomach ache, so I really didn't feel like eating until I was extremely hungry. Ursodial is a Bile Acid, and will work to dissolve the stones and help to thin the bile, just takes a little time...

I am sure you are right about the gall bladder and appetite thing. Before I had mine removed, I was so sick...could not stand to eat. Yeah...you know she had stones last year but they did not recommend it and I think I asked. I just don't recall why she was not put on it. Oh well..she is now. She does seem brighter each day. I am hopeful that her blood work will be improved this week.
