He's afraid of damaging his eye because its such a sensitive area. He also said that such a small piece would be aspirated that the results could come back inconclusive. It's something we can do in the future if cryosurgery is unsuccessful. I don't want Max's eye or vision permanently damaged if I can help it.

Not pepto....pepcid (omeprazole). I give it to two of my pups twice daily. They are on 1/4 tablet (the 10mg tab) .. you might want to ask your vet about it if you feel better doing that.

Prayers being lifted up for Max, you and the surgeon! Keep us posted and you stay calm. Everything is going to be ok.

I just fed Max now. The vet said it would be ok as long as it wasn't late in the evening. He should be ok for morning.
