I'm glad to announce that Nena's eye looks MUCH better!
It isn't red anymore and she is opening it completely

I am so relieved!

I'm glad that you got her to the vet and found the foxtail! That must have been very uncomfortable.

Thank goodness Nena is ok! Definitely do your best to avoid those foxtails...I have heard some horror stories about them where they can travel under the skin and even get into the lungs. I just found this website that you might want to look at:

There is a small field without foxtails.
I'll start taking them there to do their business.
And to prevent I'll check their paws, legs, torso, face and ears.
I told my BF what to do to avoid another bad incident.

Really glad Nena is alright. Her eye had to have been really hurting. Poor baby. Great mom to move so fast. Hope you can rest well this weekend.
