| Thank you so much for all of your prayers. He goes back to the vet tomorrow to get it looked at again. Poor baby. He went to the vet on Wed morning because he was having bloody runny stools. Then two hours later we spotted the sore spot on his leg and rushed him back to the vet. Two vet visits in one day. Poor Teddy Bear. No wonder baby boy is hiding under the bed. Then he has to back tomorrow. He shakes and cries when he is at the vet. I feel like such a mean mommy.

| You're doing what's right for Teddy, you are not by any means a mean mommy. But I understand, it's tough love, he just doesn't understand . Feel better quick Teddy, so mom will feel better too!!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Prayers and good Thoughts for Teddy Bear. Hopefully, the medicine will start to kick in. What did the vet say about his bloody stools?

| She thinks he got ahold of something that didn't agree with him. She said it caused some internal irritation. He got antibiotics and anti inflamatory meds for it. Thank you for the prayers and good thoughts.

| Update on Teddy Bear Great news from the vet today. Teddy Bear is on the mend. He is forming a scab on the injury and there was no puss in it today. Thursday when we first took him in they said they got a lot of "cottage cheese" out of it. There are no unusual cells at the wound site. He gets to stop taking the Dapsone now which was having terrible side effects for him. I didn't want to post this before but it was a brown recluse bite. I was devestated. I know the terrible skin and tissue damage that recluse bites cause and the vet told me that I could expect it to get a lot worse before it starts healing. They were really surprised to see that it is already healing. The vet said he must have only gotten a small amount of venom. But I believe it was the prayer that got him where he is now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers. I feel like I got a miracle for my boy. Love you guys! Jean

| Awww, poor Teddy, hope he can start to feel better soon. It's never easy when they are under the weather. Give hugs and kiss-es.

| Poor Teddy. That's so terrifying. I pray that he continues to heal rapidly and that he no longer feels pain or fear.

| Wonderful news!! I am very happy for you and Teddy Bear that he received such a good report from the doctor. I'm sure you are very relieved. He remains in my prayers to heal completely quickly. How is doing with going outside? I hope he can overcome his fear and reluctance. Can't blame him, I would be nervous too.

| Thanks so much for your prayers and concern. Kristin, thank you so much for being there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. You are an Angel! We think Teddy is having side effects of dizziness and I guess fear and pain. He did finally potty after the vet visit with a lot of coaxing. He has not done a poopie yet but the vet said he was pretty empty anyway from the diarrhea he had earlier. I think when he is standing he feels unsure of himself and feels like he is going to topple over. We stopped at the park on the way home from the vet and he was so happy he ran a few steps with his tail wagging and then stopped and hunched up scared and looked at me with scared eyes. I hope the side effects wear off soon. He still has to take a couple of antibiotics for the bite and his irritated colon. You know, maybe the diarrhea was a blessing in disguise because if he hadn't had that I wouldn't have been checking him for blood and probably wouldn't have spotted the blood on his leg where he got bit. Anyway, thanks again. It has meant a lot to me! Hugs... Teddy Bear, Daisy and Jean He is laying in the crate in the kitchen. He still looks scared but he likes that he can drink from the hamster bottle and doesn't have to stand up to take a drink.

| Does your vet know about the dizziness? If not or this isn't a side-effect he warned you about from the bite/medication, I would call him ASAP.

| We told the vet this morning how he was acting so strange and afraid. On the bottle in large letters it says "may cause dizziness". She told us to discontinue it since he is getting a scab on it now instead of skin deterioration. Since we have discontinued giving him that med he is practically back to his normal self by this evening. I had to go out for a bit and hubby called and told me he jumped up on the back of the sofa and was watching for me to come home. When I got home he ran to the gate fiercely wagging his tail and squealing at me to greet him. It was so heartwarming after I have been worrying so much about him and he has been laying around looking so miserable. I am so glad he is off that med and on the mend. I am amazed that he is doing so well. He didn't seem to be afraid in the yard where the spider bit him. Everyone at the vets office was shocked to see how well his wound was healing today. It was unexpected since this was a pretty serious spider bite and two days ago when we first took him in it was a huge hard knot that was blood red in color with a gooey brown and bloody center. Sorry I know it's gross. I'm just so relieved that he is going to be ok.
