Many of us don't breed but espouse the same values. I am sure this forum will never become a politically correct forum where no one cares about the life of a pup. At least I surely hope not. Not taking anything away from people who breed, but with this topic right now, I believe common sense and the love of pups is what is needed. Loving a pup is not patting someone on the back who is breeding without a back up plan to care for the lives he is responsible for. I am horrified right now thinking about how that poor puppy must be feeling. :(

I understand how you feel but don't let one person shut you up. You said EXACTLY WHAT NEEDED TO BE SAID. Some people don't like the truth, but sometimes the truth needs to be said. This is a puppy in distress that is not being cared for and you care....so I say good for you for speaking up! I hope that your words will sink in and the OP will do the right thing before this puppy dies.

Have any of you even given a second thought that his yorkie getting pregnant might have been an accident? Let's not be so judgmental of someone that is obviously having a hard time and trying to get help.

Accidental pregnancies aren't any better! In that case they weren't planning it and for sure didn't have a special savings fund for it! Perhaps that is what happened here. Easy to prevent that! Spay and neuter your pets! They will live longer bc of it!

Please take ladyjane up on her offer of help. This baby needs a vet. You have said you can not afford a vet at this time, so please, do as one of our breeders, magicgeni, was the first to empathetically suggest, with NO yelling or attacking you or your situation...allow someone to help this pup, and ladyjane is the answer to that solution. You really should allow the entire litter and the momma to be rescued....if any of them need emergent medical attention, you will be unable to provide it.

It doesn't matter what happened, how it happened, hard time or not...the life of the dog is first and foremost, I CAN'T AFFORD A VET = SURRENDER YOUR DOG.....sad or not the life of the pup is at stake....advice from here given those symptoms are not going to save that dogs life...and for the record, I do not believe this is a low sugar situation, I may be wrong...but the stare he is referring to...I've seen too...my pup died and I wish YT was here way back then to tell me to go to a vet.

If this man had a sick child and withheld medical care because he didn't have money, would you still be saying that? That's how most feel about their "fur kids"...its not ok to forsake the pups...

I know exactly what you are saying and I am in agreement when they need medical attention they should get it. That being said, we were all trying to give advice to at least temporarily help the situation.

To the OP: I certainly hope the pup is seeing a vet.

Is there a chance you could barter to get the necessary vet car for this pup? Perhaps you already have a forever family picked for one of the litter .... and you could ask them to pay for the vet care for the sick one instead of the money they were going to pay for their pup?

BTW, there was a statement that they had gotten some tiny bottles from the vet. So obviously, Mom and babies went to the vet.

No that does not mean the mom and pups went to the vet. My guess is the OP went to the vet asking for help just like he has here.

I'm too sleepy to be posting on this thread tonight, but thinking of this 8 week old baby not getting medical treatment is heartbreaking, its little life could be hanging in the balance. :(

Please take it to the Vet.
