| Awww it happens!! Don't feel too bad! Those nails bleed like AWFUL! Last year, Jax had been running around the pool too much (hard cement) and all the sudden I looked up and saw blood everywhere! I picked him up to try and find where it was coming from-you should have seen my shirt, it looked like I had just murdered someone. Blood was EVERYWHERE. We didn't have anything on hand to stop bleeding so I had to get my dad to run to the store and get corn starch and in the mean time I just held a towel on it. lol, but omg, teeny tiny nail can bleed a LOT!!

| There are 5 dogs in my house and believe me,it happens. Put the steptic powder on a qtip, hold it firmly on the bleeding spot and it will stop quickly. Make sure that no loose powder is left behind for them to lick, make sure that the bleeding stops before you let them walk around. Especially on a ruff surface. |

| Don't feel bad, the vet tech made Buster bleed when they trimmed his nails. I'm sure the groomer has probably made his nails bleed at some point...he's not an easy dog to groom. I wish I could get the nerve to try to cut their nails.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | A friend of mine also told me that if you don't have baking soda on hand, that flour will also stop the bleeding. I hate clipping doggie nails.

| You are not a bad mommy! I think it is very hard to trim their nails and I won't even attempt it. I take my girls to the groomer. Talk about bad mommy ......I once cut Pixie's ear with the clippers trimming the hair on them. OMG I felt like the worst mom in the world. It was only a nick but I felt like a butcher.....I have not trimmed her ears ever again..
