1 yr old sick little girl, Luvee...I'm at a loss.

Hi. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you all. I got off without my laptop.

Well, Luvee's blood test results were not improved. Her WBC and neutrophils were the same. I had my doubts if 3 full days on doxycycline was long enough to see a marked difference in her CBC and my main vet agreed...so another test on Thursday. I did not want to put her through anesthesia and pain when she is doing so well. We will do the bone marrow if the test results on Thursday are not improved. I will take off from work.

We are now back home in Dallas. I will say that Luvee is doing better. She is not 100% by any means but she is eating, drinking and peeing and pooping. She is in no pain and sleeps normally. She is back to jumping like she used to. Still not playing much and that has me baffled and concerned.

Does anyone have anymore suggestions? Communication with the front office at A&M clinic is delightful and they're always so pleasant but communication to the Dr.s is not. Never returns a phone call.

Im glad to hear that Luvee is doing better but will be praying that she wont need the bone marrow test, it sounds like it would be painful. and Id just like to say what an excellent mommy you are to Luvee, you have done everything you possibly can to help her feel better without question or second thought, and that is so awsome to see.

I am glad that Luvee is doing better, but sad that her blood work isn't showing improvement. I pray she won't need Bone Marrow test. Luvee will certainly continue to be in my prayers. You are a great Mom.

Got some good news today. The A&M vet finally called me to
let me know her additional blood screening for ticks came back
negative so no tick infection!!! Next is her blood test tomorrow
Friday the 1st of March. I'm taking Luvee to the emergency
hospital on Hwy 114 in Grapevine. They do blood tests in house
and get the results within an hour. Then I fax the results to
Aggieland for the Dr's review. Lets hope and pray its ok. I will
let you know ASAP.
