| George is continuing to improve slowly. He still has pain in his tummy but he was happy to see me today and gave me lots of kisses. They are giving him IV nutrition and are hopeful his tummy might be improved enough tomorrow for some light food. I am SO glad I took him up there when I did....I am sure I would have lost him if not. Scary stuff. Here are some pics from today. One of them is with my foster, Sunny D who is also there. Don't let his eye concern you...he has been under the care of an opthamologist for some time. He has glaucoma in that eye. The discoloration was from a previous calcium deposit that worked its way to the surface..it is fine! His glaucoma is managed well with one drop/day. He does have heavy cataracts and cannot see. He also cannot hear. My Georgie is probably much older than we think he is. He is pretty tough, though! george1.jpg george4.jpg sunny_george.jpg

| George is my precious little old man. He is a character and gets what he wants when he is feeling well. I warned them about him...they will surely know when he is feeling good...very vocal and does not stop until he gets what he wants!

| So glad to hear that George continues to improve. What a sweet little baby and that is a cute picture of him with Sunny D. Glad also to see that Sunny D is making improvements too. Will continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

| I am so thrilled....my George looked so much better today! They let me give him his food and he gobbled it up! He is no longer grunting from pain. She said he will probably come home on Tuesday if things continue as they are!
