George is continuing to improve slowly. He still has pain in his tummy but he was happy to see me today and gave me lots of kisses. They are giving him IV nutrition and are hopeful his tummy might be improved enough tomorrow for some light food. I am SO glad I took him up there when I did....I am sure I would have lost him if not. Scary stuff.

Here are some pics from today. One of them is with my foster, Sunny D who is also there. Don't let his eye concern you...he has been under the care of an opthamologist for some time. He has glaucoma in that eye. The discoloration was from a previous calcium deposit that worked its way to the surface..it is fine! His glaucoma is managed well with one drop/day. He does have heavy cataracts and cannot see. He also cannot hear. My Georgie is probably much older than we think he is. He is pretty tough, though!
