hi Im not sure what to do, if anything it's been about a 1/2 hour and the little red tip of my baby boys "member" is out and not going back in.. do I do anything? If so what.. is he in pain? thanks so much

Yes it can cause problems. Lubricant his penis and gently slide it back inside it's sheathe

you can use a water based lube like KY to put on the tip and then slide the sheath back over it.

thank you soo soo much for answering my question and so fast, I just gave him a warm bath and that did not work I will see if I have KY .. not sure if I do, the problem is it's not just that the tip is sticking out, the sheath is like rolled in side so he lookes like he has an outie belly button

I've had that happen. I think there is a thread on here about sugar water. It worked for me. I don't know why that would work, but it did.

ah, then that is the problem. you need to gently unroll it. try grasping the sheath and pulling it back to try and unroll it further exposing the penis. if you need to you can use your other hand to hold the base of the penis bone to keep it in place while you unsheath the penis. yes i know this sounds gross and your probably wondering why i know how to do this. LOL i was a vet tech for years and had to do this to catheterize male dogs.

once you fix the problem you should make sure that you keep his sanitary area shaved so that hair doesn't get caught on the penis again causing it to stay out

I was thinking the same thing, because I have had to do this a couple of times with Tate. Thank goodness I'd already learned what to do from Kellie and others who post help here on YT!

This happen to me last month, Zach got it out and wouldn't go back in. Oh my I almost had a panic attack!! I quickly remembered the lub and that did the trick right away.

ky is available at any drug store, wal-mart, target, etc. In the same section with birth control, pregnancy tests, etc. It's a human product, not pet product but is safe for pets.
