Donating YT 500 Club Member | My Alfie is a humper and because he has such bad allergies and on constant meds I don't try to stop him. I find that his little bit sticks out for quite a long time. I don't clip the hair there as he sometimes has to wear jammies and the hair helps him from peeing on himself, but often when he gets stuck it is because the pee hair has got stuck inside his foreskin. I leave him for an hour or so, but if it doesn't go back in I wash him with a warm cloth and then use a little Vaseline to moisturise the area to help. I have seen quite a few questions here about this, so it is quite common and I don't think it is anything to worry about. However, a few days ago Alfie growled and snapped at my husband when he tried to work it back in, he must have been in pain and my husband didn't wash him or use lubricant so I would definitely advise waiting to see how he does on his own naturally and then only gently helping the situation. It must hurt if it is stuck for a while as it dries out.

| My Sammy has this problem. He licks a lot there too. Just in the past week it was so bad that he licked until he had a red bloody spot. As soon as I saw it I took him to the vet and it turns out he was in pain and has an infections. It seams he has the beginings of kidney disorder. now.. to my point.. after research it appears excessive licking and having the "red rocket" out too often COULD indicate a bladder infection, pain, and other problems. Just so you know!

| Just plain water works too....just wet his penis and the sheath, and you can usually just pull the sheath down over the end of the penis, and the penis will withdraw further up into the sheath. |

| This has happened to Bailey too! I was FREAKING OUT! The second time it happened I learned not to panic too much and just tried to get him to calm down. It is so scary though, and it looks painful! I had to hide his favorite "toy"! lolol
