| Lymphnodes feel swollen / rear legs giving out Lymphnodes feels swollen// rear legs giving out I have had my baby for two years now and have noticed his lymph nodes on both sides of his neck are swollen, not a lot but they are not normal size. When he yawns it sounds like his throat may be constricted... Anyone else have this problem? He eats normally drinks normally and is active. Also his hind legs seem to be giving out on him recently. Monday night he tried to jump on the sofa and didn't make it but it wasn't a hard fall, he does has Lyme diesese which he has had medicine for, I'm wondering if maybe it is affecting his hind legs joints? He walks on them but every once and awhile he starts to limp and some times yelps like he is in pain then after a min or so he is back to normal... Can anyone shed some light on my situations? He does have a vet appointment on friday. Thank you! |

| Hi, I'm rather new to YT and I know someone else will be able to answer your question better than I but with what you are saying, I would be afraid to wait until Friday to get my pup in to the vet! I wouldn't wait, sounds like an emergency to me!! Keeping your pup and you in my prayers.

| Lyme disease can definitely effect their joints and their ability to walk. I would have the Vet run additional blood work to rule out anything else. I hope he feels better soon. Keep us posted.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would try and move the vet appointment to tomorrow. With having lyme disease and yelping in pain he should be seen sooner. Keep us posted.

| Momo has swollen, impacted salivary glands which the vet(s) can't figure out why & still trying to figure out, fine needle aspiration came back normal too. @ 1st, I thought it was swollen lymph nodes & got so scared! Took him in to the vet right away & they checked all his lymph nodes, the neck, shoulders, legs, not sure where else but they were all normal. I hope Friday's appt goes well if you haven't taken him in yet...please keep us posted!

| Kiki just started yelping about her back leg. Holding it up and at the time she was standing by me in the couch! I don't know what to do it is the.middle of the night! We are trying to go to bed but she isn't comfortable but she will let me rub her leg & it feels fine. .
