Oh,this is such sad news, you tried so hard to save him. I'm so, so sorry....big hugs... |
Linda, I'm so saddened for you right now... I know your heart is breaking. :( God knew Jack London needed Angels to show him what real love and comfort felt like, I'm so thankful he sent you, and his foster mom. :animal-pa RIP Little Man :animal-pa |
This baby was desperately ill with insurmountable traumatic injuries for such a little fella. I was praying, but I was very fearful about his chances....My only consolation was that he had the best people attending to his needs....LJ, you certainly did the very best you could do with such a broken, ill baby, and God bless his foster mom, whose heart is surely breaking also......and my appreciation and respect for the vets at A&M is immeasurable.....they make the impossible, feasible....when I look at this, the pain in my soul for this baby is not intensified by questions of accurate treatment or procedures....it was up to God and He decided this baby had been through enough....he needed to be relieved of all this pain and struggling to just breathe....so little Jack London is home with his Maker....he is finished with his struggle and he is restored and Glorified as one of Gods perfect little creatures. Go play and run and breathe deeply, free of pain....and those who remain behind, while we will mourn your passing, we are thankful for all the efforts made on your behalf by caring, loving, attentive people, and for them, we are so grateful. |
LJ i am so sorry for your loss, you went above & beyond to help this little one, may God bless you....Hugs |

Thinking of and praying for him. Keep us posted. |
Needless to say, I did not get much sleep. I have written and rewritten this post. I suppose it really is not time for me to say much. I am simply heartbroken. I just want to post something that happened this morning that reminded me of why we do what we do. We don't just take healthy yorkies...we take any and all that we can provide for and some of them come to us in terrible shape. Summer is the first one that comes to mind. When I went to the kitchen this morning to get my coffee and start getting the pups' food ready, Sammy started his usual serenade. :) I immediately thought....yes, this is why we do what we do!! We save what we can...sadly some are just not going to make it. Anyway, here are two videos...one of just Sammy and the other of my Adina standing next to him. Kind of funny because this is what my pups do...they look at Sammy like "what's your deal". :) Most of you know Sammy's story...he is a miracle baby for sure and living proof to me that what we do is the right thing to do. After losing Jack like this, I needed the reminder....it was killing me that he died the way he did. I have to remember that this was going to happen to him at some point no matter what...he was a total mess. Poor little angel. |
Thank you so much, all of you, for your prayers and your kind words. They mean more than you could ever know. |
Omg! Linda look at Sammy! He looks great! Happy tears after the sad news. Thanks Sammy for bringing the positive in to remind us about the amazing people at YHR! |
So very sorry for your loss. At least Jack ended his life on earth knowing that there are people who will love and care for their animals. God bless him and you and the foster mom for all you do. Take care. |
Just was checking on a update. So very sorry words can not say how blessed these pups are to find this rescue. But sometimes things get taken out of our hands. He is now pain free and running with some great yorkies on the other side. RIP Jack |
Oh no! I'm so sorry this little fellow is gone but as you and others have said, he's with the angels now and completely renewed. It was good he knew love, some soothing relief and help during his final days. His last thoughts of humans were no doubt good ones and I'm sure he knew people were trying to help him. Thank you and all of those who work so hard to help and support little Yorkies in real trouble. Poor, sweet little Jack London won't soon be forgotten by doglovers here. |
I just saw this and am devastated. This is so sad that another pup suffers and dies because of what those who are supposed to care for them does not. All the YHR folks are so brave to face these cases and try to nurse them back to health but this time it just wasn't to be. Blessings for all the care givers. RIP Jack :cry::cry: |
