Awww, Thank you LadyJane for posting his photos. He has such sweet little face and I can see a glimmer of appreciation in those precious eyes. ;) |
Oh god, how anyone coud hurt this dollbaby I will never know. He would be one I would drive to Texas for, so sweet. Prayers are being said that his condition improves. |
Spoke with the surgeon about 45 minutes ago....Jack is going downhill today and as I spoke with her they were actually thinking they were going to have to intubate him and put him on a respirator. She wanted to know our wishes....we all conferred and made the decision to give him the best shot possible...a tracheal stent. It was that or let him go. She told me that there is a possibility the trachea will collapse on either end of the stent and he won't wake up and we would be out $2,000 which is the cost of the stent. We all had to think long and hard...not about that money because it will come...but what is best for little Jack. We feel that we have to give him this one last shot at a good life. He deserves that much. As soon as I hear something, will update. He is probably in for the procedure as I type this. He needs your prayers big time right now...as does his foster mom. She is so upset and wanted to go and be with him, but there was not enough time. He just has to be ok. |
Taking quiet time now to say special prayers for Jack London, his foster Mom, and you. Sending Prayers and Hugs... |

Sending so many good thoughts and lots of positive energy Jack's way... |
I am just now seeing this thread. I saw Jack London's pic and story on YHR's site when I was scouring the net for any leads on Bengi. I don't even have words when I hear things like this. It's unfathomable to me how "people" (for lack of a better term) can treat animals. Praying for Jack London's peace and his foster mom's peace! I am so sorry to read that he's doing worse :( :( |

I am just now seeing this post and I am sending prayers up for little Jack. What a sweet baby. Praying he comes through the surgery and the stent works for him. He does look like a little fighter, so hopefully he still has some fight left in him. :xfingers: Fingers crossed this works for him. I would personally drive down to TX if I knew who did this and put my little of size 6 foot up their... well, you know where I am going with this. |
Little Jack is out of surgery and in recovery! They were able to extubate him without a problem. He is breathing and swallowing on his own!!!! :) Will update as I hear more. So thankful right now. |
