| Nibble Threw Herself Down The Stairs!!! :-( I was coming up behind her (she knew I was heading upstairs), and she was ahead of me. I stopped on the side of the stairs, and all of a sudden I saw her ariborne like she had been thrown by somebody at the top of the stairs. She bounced off the cat carrier (which was the only thing that kept her from hitting the wall), got up, and when I went to go to her, she ran away. She did follow me upstairs afterwards and let me pick her up. I have her in her doggie Shangri-la now, and keeping her quiet. I felt all over, and she didn't yelp, she's putting weight on her legs, and she's barking at her brothers and sister (kittehs). Now she's chewing her bone. I feel AWFUL. She's only three pounds! She's gone up and down the stairs for so long with no problems now that she's learned how to (or at least I THOUGHT she learned!). Well, that's it. No more stairs. I feel like crap. |

| Awe accidents happen. Georgie has had a couple of accidents. I would just monitor her and keep her relaxed. I am glad she is ok.

| Oh dear! Well..just beware..they are very good at hiding their pain. Just please watch her closely over the next few days...if it were me, I would take her to the vet just incase, but I'm at the vet at the drop of a hat, over any little thing, lol. These babies sure keep us on our toes. Don't feel bad..accidents happen!

| I mean, as many times as she's been up and down the stairs, chasing the cats, or just running up and down the stairs because she can, and then this happens. She's sleeping now (sort of - she was giving me the stink eye just now). She's sooo tiny! |

| Gosh, wonder what scared or excited her so to cause her to do this? It's good you felt her all over. Did you bend each of her joints, etc., to be sure no reaction? Watch her closely and if she begins to act lethargic, hyper or sleepy, biting at the air, standing in one position for prolonged periods of time, vomits/diarrhea or won't eat - anything at all, take her in to the vet. If there is a tiny rupture in blood vessel or organ that is slowly seeping blood or internal swelling happening in her brain or body, she could have a delayed onset of symptoms so just be vigilant for the next 24 - 48 hours. These little creatures are pretty tough but even a toughie can get an injury if they fall or land in a certain way and not all are immediately apparent. Likely will be fine but don't leave her alone for the next 2 days & vet ASAP if she acts odd.

She stays with me most (if not all of) the day since I work from home, so I will definitely be watching her like a wide screen TV! | |

| Oh, Tibbe is such a daredevil, he does all kinds of things that scare me silly!!! He thinks gravity doesn't apply to him! So glad you can watch her but hopefully she's fine.

| My girl decided she could fly off the arm of the lazy boy 1 Saturday night. (she was just a pound at the time) I had just told my DH to not let her jump off, cause we have hard wood floors... I heard a dull thud then hubby saying cinders. I thought he was playing around since i'm over protective. He wasn't. She was out cold. I really thought she died. We put karo syrup on her gums and kept saying her name, and after around 30 secs to a min, she woke up. She was groggy and couldn't walk without wobbling. We were going to take her to the hospital. Started dialing the number, then she woke all the way... jumped off my leg ( i was sitting on the floor with her) got her favorite toy and wanted to play. LOL. I watched her that night and the next day- she was fine. We did go to the vet on monday just to make sure she was ok. She's a dare devil, and the vet said she's an active, normal puppy. He also said her skull didn't have a soft spot anymore, so that saved her from brain injury. I'm not looking forward to her going up and down steps AT ALL...

| Hope that she is okay. You just never know what is going thru their little heads. They think that they are invincible. Give her extra cuddles and kisses tonight.

| I feel like the.worst.furmom.EVER. I mean, she doesn't even sleep on the bed because I'm afraid she'll fall off or I'll roll over on her. A friend of mine said her sister's dog was a three-pounder who would fling himself off the back deck with absurd regularity, but he's a s**tz shu. |
