My girl decided she could fly off the arm of the lazy boy 1 Saturday night. (she was just a pound at the time) I had just told my DH to not let her jump off, cause we have hard wood floors... I heard a dull thud then hubby saying cinders. I thought he was playing around since i'm over protective. He wasn't.
She was out cold. I really thought she died.
We put karo syrup on her gums and kept saying her name, and after around 30 secs to a min, she woke up. She was groggy and couldn't walk without wobbling. We were going to take her to the hospital. Started dialing the number, then she woke all the way... jumped off my leg ( i was sitting on the floor with her) got her favorite toy and wanted to play. LOL. I watched her that night and the next day- she was fine. We did go to the vet on monday just to make sure she was ok. She's a dare devil, and the vet said she's an active, normal puppy. He also said her skull didn't have a soft spot anymore, so that saved her from brain injury.
I'm not looking forward to her going up and down steps AT ALL...
