I was coming up behind her (she knew I was heading upstairs), and she was ahead of me. I stopped on the side of the stairs, and all of a sudden I saw her ariborne like she had been thrown by somebody at the top of the stairs. She bounced off the cat carrier (which was the only thing that kept her from hitting the wall), got up, and when I went to go to her, she ran away. She did follow me upstairs afterwards and let me pick her up.
I have her in her doggie Shangri-la now, and keeping her quiet. I felt all over, and she didn't yelp, she's putting weight on her legs, and she's barking at her brothers and sister (kittehs). Now she's chewing her bone.
I feel AWFUL. She's only three pounds! She's gone up and down the stairs for so long with no problems now that she's learned how to (or at least I THOUGHT she learned!).
Well, that's it. No more stairs.
I feel like crap.
