2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Vet/Friday to check out bumps. Three out of the four have them. Previous Thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...gies-they.html Im headed to the vet on Friday to have the bumps on both Brand & Quince checked out. Since I first saw them last summer they have gotten bigger and have spread. What I thought might have been fall allergies may be something worse. Doc says may need to do a biopsy meaning. Putting one of them under Anastasia, cut, stitch and test. Im not sure how Quince at the age of(10) will handle it or Brand with her history of seizures. Not sure what to do. Plus, I just discoved that Mao also has a few of these bumps. So Im confused !! They dont react to them any other time, only in the fall, hot/dry months. And each of them reacts differently. Quince & Brand just get nuts and Mao doesn't seem to be bothers by them. I just hope that there is something that they can do to stop them from spreading. If I had to guess I would say that these are Canine Papillomavirus warts. Treatments for Dog Warts - Yahoo! Voices - voices.yahoo.com Has anyone ever dealt with these warts and if so what outcome did you get with treatment, if any!!!

| Good luck at the vet! Not a clue what it could be. I have seen all sorts of bumps and lumps on pups but not the same ones on multiple pups.

| No idea here although I'd wonder about some sort of bug? Anyway, depending on size and location, lidocaine and a punch biopsy may be adequate. My girl had a punch bx on her nose without going under.

| Momo had one small tiny wart on his lower back & the vet removed it using the freezing method...it came back=/ now it's 2 little bumps. It just scared me when the vet said it might spread, so I had it removed, I shouldn't have removed it in the 1st place. Hope it's nothing serious!

| Do you use a Heartworm preventative that also treats and kills mites? The bumps could be a bacterial infection... as happened with my GSD. Good Luck at the vets.

| Oliver also had a biopsy without going under... it was just a cyst and we had results within 24 hours. He was a tough boy and honestly didn't even seem to feel it. Hoping for good results for you! I know how stressful the wait is.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Update on Quincy & Brandi Update on Quincy & Brand. Quincy and Brand both have allergies, to what who knows. There is testing that can be done but just doing whatever I can to keep them comfortable when they get out of control is all I can do at this point. Put them all back on Pet Armor flea control after doc confirmed that the bumps could not have been caused by it. No fleas but better safe than sorry since a flea allergy could be that cause. Quincy: Has some raspy sounds in his lungs. Could be due to the allergies or his age. His bumps were diagnoses as Apocrine (Sweat Gland) Cysts. Brand: Has the same Apocrine (Sweat Gland) Cysts but has itched them to the point of infection. She has two meds to take to clear it up. Thank you all for your concern and prayers very much appreciated.... at this point and my findings with Miah I need them !

| Lolita would get large absessed bumps on her paws and it was such a puzzle as to why. They would lance them and put her on antibiotic. She would get better and they would flare up again. We noticed that she loved to play with the frogs on the front porch. Then she started having respritory problems pretty bad ones and we told the vet about the frogs. Come to find out it was something the frogs secrete that was causing the problems. Now none of ours are allowed to play with frogs period!....I will always wonder if this respritory problem didn't help speed the weakening of her tiny lil heart.
