I really wish you luck getting a diagnosis. Trust the vets: it's better when they run diagnostics test than when they ALWAYS say "it's an allergy" to everything & give meds blindly.

I tell you this because I'm going through similar case currently. My dog got itchy, hair loss on his hind legs, hypermentation, and little tiny numbs on the bald areas. His vet believes its a dermatitis caused by n allergy to SOMETHING. Antibiotic, anti-itching med, & a spray were prescribed. But I'm very frustrated because as he suffers everything seems like an experiment

Miah has an appointment with the vet on the 27th for a needle asperation. We will have some kind of results as to what the lump is and what our next step will be.

As for Quincy and Brandi their bumps were diagnosed as Apocrine (Sweat Gland) Cysts and allergies. Allergic to what who knows ?

This type of frantic itching and pulling out their hair happened once a year, same time each time. Which would lead me to belive they have some sort of fall allergy.

Thanks.... So you know exactly how I'm feeling at this point as do many other members I figure are having simular situations with their pups. It is quite frustrating not knowing what is the cause and not being able to help them feel better and put a stop the The Madness !!
