| Sammy is out of surgery and in recovery and doing fine! His bladder was still attached where the surgery was done last time, but it had stretched quite a bit; so they left that and also attached it to the linea alba as planned. The colon is still where they put it last time, so Sammy should be all fixed up now!  I love the nickname in Donna's post...fits Sammy well. Quote:

| Oh, and on another note: They repaired Sammy's little friend, Mr. Winky. Some of you may recall that it was an issue before...kept peaking out. It had improved periodically but kept coming back. The surgeon remembered it and this time when he saw it, he told me he was going to fix it when Sammy had his surgery. So....hopefully I have seen the last of Mr. Winky.

| Been checking for the updates on Sammy and glad to hear he's had surgery and is recovering, Mr. Winky now hidden. Hope he's feeling much better very soon. He's in excellent hands.

| Linda, I'm so sorry Sammy had to go through surgery again. I was relieved to see it went well and happy to hear Mr. Winky won't be winking at you anymore. I hope he does get to come home tomorrow and this will all eventually be put behind him once and for all. Bless his little heart!
