I agree....never take a chance on waiting on an eye injury. Hope Teddy is doing better today.

So glad you got Teddy seen so fast. I really hope the eye improves with the antibiotics and anti inflammatories.

Wow the pics are very telling. Good thing your as observant as you are. I recently got into the habit of checking them each evening too...not that I always didn't hold and pet and groom, but I didn't routinely give them the once over...I have found with my Miss Mini and Mia it is a necessity...Remember I'm the one who didn't realize my dog was deaf for 7 months

Glad things are going better for Teddy Pumpkin! Hes too cute for all this...Prayers for you and Teddy!

Things with Teddy today are about the same. I think the swelling in his eye has gone down a little, probably from the Metacam. The color of the eye is still very red and glassy and the third eyelid is still pushed up and over the cornea. He vomited earlier, probably due to the antibiotic. I gave him a dose of Pepcid to help him tolerate the antibiotics.

At least things are not worse and Teddy seems to be more dull and quiet than usual which is probably to be expected when your eye socket is full of pus and you're taking meds that make you feel icky.

I'll update tomorrow. Thanks for thinking of Teddy Pumpkin Pie and us.

Poor little Teddy. You are both so lucky sharing your life and your love together. I know how special your little boy is, and you are an amazing mom. I hope Teddy heals quickly and that he can be free from all pain and suffering.

sorry to hear about Teddy's eyes, I don't know much about eye problems, so all I can do is send prayers your way and kuddos to you for how in tune you are with your pups.
