| Tink's eye is hurt and I don't know what to do My 2 year old yorkie Tink's eye is messed up and aggitated but I'm not sure if it is something I can do or if we need to take her to the vet. She is squinting her left eye, it is sensitive to the light and is leaking clear fluid. I'm not sure what to do, I tried wiping her eye off with a wash rag, please help if you have any idea. Thanks |

| I am so sorry that nobody has responded to you. If she's having discharge & squinting she should deff go to the vet. There are too many things that can happen with the eye to risk waiting it out. Please update after she sees her vet. |

| I agree with Vicki a vet visit is in order. I don't mess with eye issues. Please keep us posted. Prayers for your both.

| Just seeing this...hope you took Tink to a vet. These eye issues can really go bad quickly.

| Vet! You don't want to fool around when the eye is involved. Good luck, I hope it's nothing serious.

| It is never simple with the eye involved. I got flea shampoo in Lolos eye once and it did this the vet had me put eye salve in it for a few days and it cleared up but it was infected and that was why the swelling etc.

| I agree, get her to the vet asap. I had this happen with one of my puppies a few years ago. Unfortunatley, the receptionist at the vets told me to give it until monday and see how he was doing and I listened to her. His brother had scratched his eye and he wound up with a nasty infection. It's something that can be easily treated if you catch it right away. I had to go weeks getting up every few hours to put antibiotic cream in his eye and he is very lucky that he is still able to see out of the eye. |
