I am keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. Hope all goes well at the vet...also glad it is a vet you like.

CPL is negative. Her lipase is now normal. She was still having pain. She had a temp of 103.2 Thinking it might be stress/pain related since he did labs...everything ok.
Gave her Tramadol and she is more comfortable and did eat most of her food this afternoon. Will speak with my vet in am. EC vet said we just have to be sure there is nothing GI going on before starting an anti inflammatory. He is leaning towards it being her back. She is still showing some flinching when examined. He went to do an xray and the darned machine broke....I did not want to drive to another EC...and did not want to wait for the people to show up to fix it. I will see if my vet wants to do one tomorrow. We did do one there the other day and it did not show anything.

Not really a huge deal...he was just going to throw it in out of curiosity. We think it's her back anyway and an xray may not even show it.
It just would have perhaps been interesting.

Glad her labs were good and her Lipase is back to normal. Hoping that Summer is back to her self tomorrow. Hoping you can get some rest.

Spoke with my vet and she has started Summer on meds for her back. Summer is to be on strict rest for now.
She started her on Dexamethasone, Carafate, Pepcid, Methacarbanole......and Tramadol for pain. Hopefully she will respond to these meds .. if not, she will need further testing. At this point she has no neuro deficits at all, so she is starting with conservative treatment.

She really has...it just makes me sick to see her be in pain and sad.
