Poor Zoey needs surgery...

No surgery as of yet. The vet had to bump ours because of an emergency surgery needed to be performed on another of his patients. Zoey is still doing great. She doesn't seem affected by her injury at all. She's being more snuggly if anything. She's on oral pain meds which are helping. But she's still her spunky self. I have to keep her from walking around too much so she has been relaxing with me a lot. I will keep you guys updated.

The vet should be calling me later today in regards to fixing my baby, so I'm anxiously waiting by the phone...

oh my.. you poor thing!! I do know that sound.. I have heard it this month also.

I am sorry that I did not read your post till now.. I sure hope Zoey does well. I may have a large vet bill also, have looked into care credit and weighing the options of taking out of savings or paying over time..I hope you work it out also!!!

And most of all... I hope zoey does well!!

Surgery went well. She's a little fighter! She was chewing on her splint some but luckily she will be going back to the vet to get it changed soon. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes again! Now we just have to pray for a swift and successful recovery period. 7 weeks to go!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about Zoey but glad she's had her surgery now and is doing well. I hope that her little leg heals well. She looks like a little darling.

Thanks. So far no complications... as we speak she is trying to figure out how to chew on a bully stick holding it with only one of her front legs. She's such a sweetheart, and I'm glad she is coping well.
