| It's made for Yorkie's and was recommended by the vet. He's been on it for about 3 weeks and hasn't had any problems with it. I think it might have been the apple/peanut butter treats. They're not from china and made by DelMonte but I think they were just to rich maybe.

| I just talked to the vet of the day, I thought it might be good to have a second opinion. She's thinking virus so she put him on an antibiotic. I questioned that because they don't work on viruses but she said a bacteria can attach itself to the lining of the stomach when it is irritated and cause inflammation. She also put him on a 1/4 tablet of pepcid once a day. She said after they thrown up for a while the stomach starts producing larger amounts of acid which will make them throw up so it's a cycle. I suggested strained baby food meat and she said go for it. I got everything and give him his medication. When I opened the baby food he started to scarf it down so I stopped him at about a tablespoon. She said to wait an hour and if he keeps it down give him another tablespoon and wait another hour. If he keeps that all down then I can give him more, so that's where we are. 1:15 is the magic hour, I'm saying a prayer and crossing my fingers - I'll keep everyone posted.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Praying he gets better. Could maybe you take him to a different vet if you don't like the way this is going. You know your dog best and if you don't feel he is getting better then maybe it's time to see someone else. Or at least call and ask questions. With insurance I would hope they would work with you.

YOU wrote that you think he is dying. YOU wrote that he has been vomiting for days on end. Even IF he is taking sips of water, that is not enough for a dog that has vomited that much. I merely was posting suggestions and you act like this? What exactly did you want people on this forum to say? I am confused as heck now.

| I need to know if anyone has had a similar problem. I think your wrong about these organizations and that they will help with testing which you need to get a diagnoses. I also don't need you to tell me what I need to focus on I know what I need to do, I just need to know if anyone has worked with some of these groups and what they were able to do for them. I also know that their care is expensive I'm 60 and had animals before. Your tone is coming off that I shouldn't even own an animal if my finances are lacking at times. Everyone that has responded to my post has been kind, caring and helpful - not judgmental. I greatly appreciate their advice and opinions and thank them very much. When I said I though he was dying I was in a very bad frame of mind. Seeing him so sick and not being able to help him and days without sleep or food myself, I just lost it. I know how serious this is, he can't go much longer like this and I might have to give him away to save his life. I'm sorry your so confused you don't need to respond to my question. I have more important things to think about then your clarity on my problem. Everyone else seams to understand.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ladyjane works with rescue and has saved many many dogs life's. If you had been a member long you would understand why she says the things she does... Do not take it personal she really is about the dogs welfare. She could be very valuable and have knowledge on what's going on.. But needs to know everything that is why she ask questions. I just believe because you are so worried you are taking her questions as you don't know anything, I believe truly she is trying to help. I agree you do not need anymore stress and believe you are trying to do what right. I hope and pray that your dog is health and back to normal very soon. Having our babies sick is the worst feeling in the world. Specially when we don't know what to do.

| Yes, I have had problems with pups with his symptoms, but it would not help you to tell you what I did because you said you don't have money. I have NO tone. It is what you have read into my posts. There is nothing mean in any of my posts....I have been point blank honest with you. I suggested you check his gums frequently and you got upset with me. I don't know what to say to you. As for those organizations with money.....I have seen MANY people apply over the years and they did not qualify. I did not just say this because I thought it to be true. If you can find money quickly when a pup is sick. that's great. I was merely trying to make a point that he needs care now and I don't see how applying to these groups will achieve that. I did not say NOT to apply...nor did I say they don't help people. You now say he is not dying...but you say he cannot go on like this. I cannot believe that you don't see the conflicting statements here? I am worried about this pup...that's all! Not passing judgement...merely saying what I believe to be true...and what might help.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | I am sorry you feel that way and hope you don't go away. It is a great forum. Just thinking you are tired and stressed to the max right now. You need to get you pup health and get some much needed sleep. And then make that decision. We all really want what's best for you and the pup... Please keep us updated

I'm not is a very good frame of mind right now I just think I should sign off for a while until I can collect my thoughts. Thanks everyone for you help.

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | I am so sorry about Binky's illness. I'm just seeing this thread. Is Binky having bloody diarrhea? Did anyone mention HGE? This is a serious, potentially deadly situation, and should be addressed asap. I have read the previous posts, and understand there is no money. Now that I think about it: surely your vet has ruled this out, or s/he would treat Binky for it. Prayers .....
