I just talked to the vet of the day, I thought it might be good to have a second opinion. She's thinking virus so she put him on an antibiotic. I questioned that because they don't work on viruses but she said a bacteria can attach itself to the lining of the stomach when it is irritated and cause inflammation. She also put him on a 1/4 tablet of pepcid once a day. She said after they thrown up for a while the stomach starts producing larger amounts of acid which will make them throw up so it's a cycle. I suggested strained baby food meat and she said go for it. I got everything and give him his medication. When I opened the baby food he started to scarf it down so I stopped him at about a tablespoon. She said to wait an hour and if he keeps it down give him another tablespoon and wait another hour. If he keeps that all down then I can give him more, so that's where we are. 1:15 is the magic hour, I'm saying a prayer and crossing my fingers - I'll keep everyone posted.
