| That little stinker is MUCH better. I nearly died last night at what he did. Still don't believe it. I had had Tibbe outside but he was frisking a bit & since he's on restricted activity, brought him in to quiet him, then I went into the bathroom to shower & Tibbe stayed in the den. Coming out of the bath, I saw that he had pottied in the hallway & guiltily realized I hadn't given him enough time to "go" when outside. After cleaning it up, I came into the den & Tibbe was no where. I looked all over the house & found him back in the rear of the house on my bed!!!!!!!!! That wouldn't be unusual except I had blocked off his doggy steps by the bed with tall stacks of books on each so he could not use them as they are too heavy for me to move right now with these hip complications & current PT I'm having. I put lots of hardback books stacked up so there was no space for him to access any single step!!! Yet, there was my recently injured little Yorkie standing up on my bed with his head hanging down, his ears out to the side, eyes wide & so guilty or sad that he'd done a bad thing pottying in the house! I almost died. I just panicked. What in the world had he done to himself getting up there??? How badly was he re-injured? Could he walk - how bad was his pain. I approached him slowly & he came over to me, head down, & I said "Oh, baby, Mommie's sorry, I didn't let you go potty outside - I am sorry" as I was examining him all over for painful areas or swelling or something. He suddenly got all happy & jumped up on me & started kissing me & I nearly died from guilt & worry again. I carried him into the den, examined him from head to foot, neuro/ortho - heart in my mouth & he seemed fine! I couldn't believe it. I have NO IDEA how he could have navigated that huge jump involving even a turn before he could access the stairs so there could be no running start. He had to have made a HUGE, unbelievable jump to get on top of that lowest high stack of books & then have somehow navigated all those stacks of books to get up to the bed - I'm just kicking myself for the stupidity of thinking that would prevent his jumping & kicking myself for how hurt he could be from doing it - though he seems perfectly fine. And I wouldn't have thought even a Cocker Spaniel-sized dog could have jumped up & navigated that! I gave him medicine & put him in his carrier with the door shut up beside me & he soon went to sleep & slept all night. Me - not so much! He's been playing & frisking around, baiting me, growling at me to play with him, play-bowing & grrrrrr-ing all this morning. He seems to be fine, happy, has eaten/drank/peed/pooed today. And I'm a wreck, trying to keep him down & quiet & worried the Prednisolone is masking something. I did move the stairs back there away from that bed, pain be darned! If he turns back up on that bed - it means somehow that little dog - 9" at the withers - jumped up onto that tall bed & I just can't believe it! Yet, there he was! These dogs are such athletes it is just incredible. You cannot trust them for one moment. I think I'm going to buy a backpack & stick him in it & just "wear" him all day & night!!!

| LOL we're working on getting my store manager to let me baby gate my pup behind the register with me so I can watch her more. It would mean a lot less worry to have them with us 24/7. Glad Tibbe is doing great!

| Tibbe is about 95% now. I think it is the Prednisolone he's weaning off of that has him still a bit different, not so bombastic. But it is so good to see him acting okay again & he even played quite a bit yesterday & Sunday with me riding herd on much fun. I won't be happy until he's 100% of my little fireball again. Tomorrow he can start back on full activities. Here's hoping the Yorkie I had is completely back to himself very soon. It so scary when they aren't themselves & there's just not much we can do but wait. (Don't know what happens to my font sometimes when I do Spellcheck!!!!)
