| Welcome and I am glad he is doing much better. So glad you found this site too. I am thinking you may want to either find another vet or talk to your vet and let him/her know that in the future you don't want your baby given combo shots. My vet does not give combo shots because as the others have pointed out, it is just too much on the little ones. And as far as the Lepto, your vet should have informed about why it is given, the risks of giving it, and let you decide whether you want your baby to get it or not. I know in my area, there was one case of Lepto reported/seen last year but the dog had not had any shots in years. It is not common near me, so I have opted to not get it for Jack and just to make sure he doesn't drink standing water outside. Congratulations on your baby and welcome again! Lori - owned by Jack

| Glad your baby is okay. FYI, I always ask my vet if Ruger is going to have any reactions to a new med or a shot. Not all dogs react to medications, but the vet will often tell me Ruger may get lethargic for a day or so, so I don't worry when it happens. |

| Just a note on the rabies vaccination, someone mentioned waiting until a puppy is 6 months old to vaccinate. Quite a few states require puppies to be vaccinated by 3 or 4 months of age, so waiting until pup is 6 months old may not be a option depending on local laws. |
