| Good news!!!! Lipomas Lipomas are one of the most common benign harmless tumors found in dogs. Most older or overweight dogs have at least one lipoma. Almost every dog owner has, at one time or another, found or felt one of these common fatty tumors on their dog. Veterinarians generally disregard these and do not recommend removal unless they are causing a problem. --- Now everyone will be looking for a lipoma on their dog - but if you find one, at least you don't have to worry about it. | My Abbie had the same thing and it is now gone after a couple of months. Turns out it was a reaction to her vaccinations. Goog Luck..

| My little Doogie had the same thing. I realized that it was due to a vaccination in the hind area. It went away about two weeks later. |

| Turns out the small bump on Katie's back was just from her vaccination. It is almost completely gone now and its been about 23 days. I asked the vet about it and she said sometimes the vaccination causes a bump and it can last up to a month. |

| I found a bump on my little girl this morning, and I started freaking out and almost broke down crying because I thought she was sick. But now after reading these comments, I think it might be because of her shots, she's 4 months old and just had her last set of shots last week. So hopefully, it's nothing to worry about, I'm going to wait and keep checking and see if it goes away. |

| Don't take a single minute out of your day to worry about this....believe me. It is because of her shots. It won't go away for a couple of months and the vet said to just leave it alone. When I took my Abbie, he immediately knew what it was.....reaction to the shots. Apparently the tissue has a reaction to the med and tries to surround it, which causes the bump. Have fun with your puppy!! Smiles~ Gina
