| This is good to hear. I do believe she will need to be restricted and should she have a first symptom, please don't delay on moving forward with her care and now, you have the time to prepare for the expense should it be needed down the road. I'm sure she was very miserable in that cast, but perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. Wishing you all the best and continuing prayers for precious little Livie.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Thanks, yes she is for sure muuch better. I did put something just around her neck, nowhere else to restrict her moving it too quickly or injuring it. They told me the problem is when she would look up or down so its to avoid that.

| Something like a mini cervical collar for dogs.... it would have to be made especially for her though.... Glad she's doing well!

| Hi, my 1 yr old Yorkie has atlantoaxial luxation. She is at Angell in Boston after being misdiagnosed. I'm looking for the FB page but can't find it. Would you please send me a link? |

https://www.facebook.com/yorkietalk/?fref=ts There are other members here who have had pups with AAI. You might want to start a new thread in Sick & Injured forum about your baby girl. Hope all goes well with her.
