| The stitches are gone Doc said I could give her a bath, but to be careful and not disturb the scabbing. Her incision has healed nicely, but since it was so deep he said it would be best to leave that area alone and let the healing process and scabs fall off naturally. He went over the pathology report (since I just talked to him on the phone last week) and said that the mass was almost down to her spine.(no wonder the incision was so big I shudder to think of what could have happened if I hadn't felt that lump on her back when I did...it would have only gotten bigger. I think it is best we wait until the weekend for a bath. I have been using a waterless shampoo on her little bum and face, so it isn't the end of the world if we wait a few more days on getting in the water.

Thanks Vicki I sure am glad those darned things are out too and I am sure Jada feels much better. Little thing didn't even flinch when doc was taking them out. She is such a good little patient.

| The scabs are coming off!!! Jada's incision is looking really good. I don't think the scarring is going to be as bad as I first thought. I would post a pic of her incision day of surgery, but it is really pretty graphic. My poor baby girl, hasn't ever been this messy and in need of a bath. I am hoping by Sunday all the scabs will be gone and we can get all clean and prettied up I took both of these just a little bit ago. Photo04132112 (475x356).jpg Photo04132119_1 (475x356).jpg

| The incision area is looking great! I don't think you need to worry at all about a scar. Your vet did a very nice job. I can't believe the mass went so deep. It is a very good thing you found it and got her in right away. Jada, I would never have guessed you haven't had a bath. My boys would look like Cousin It by this time, lol. I'm so happy for you that this ordeal is over and that you and your family can relax.
