The stitches are gone
Doc said I could give her a bath, but to be careful and not disturb the scabbing. Her incision has healed nicely, but since it was so deep he said it would be best to leave that area alone and let the healing process and scabs fall off naturally. He went over the pathology report (since I just talked to him on the phone last week) and said that the mass was almost down to her spine.(no wonder the incision was so big
I shudder to think of what could have happened if I hadn't felt that lump on her back when I did...it would have only gotten bigger.
I think it is best we wait until the weekend for a bath. I have been using a waterless shampoo on her little bum and face, so it isn't the end of the world if we wait a few more days on getting in the water.
