| Why would she be doing this? I don't know if Rosie is really sick or not. But she has been scooting her girly area on the floor. Not her bottom just the girl area. What would cause her to do this? I have looked and we see nothing that looks different. Any ideas?

| Do dogs have itchy yeast infections like women do?

| I don't know but I thought it would be red? Or swollen?

| Maybe it is deep inside? Or is she taking medication that could suppress swelling or redness? If she's doing that, you know something is bothering her. Maybe it's a little cyst or something right near the inside opening - a little nodule or something bothering her just inside?

| I am going to call my vet in the morning. She hasn't done it anymore. However, I want to see what she does tomorrow. I am at a loss here on what it is.

| Poor Rosie! I hope it was just an anomaly and that nothing is going on.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Ruby does that a lot, some days or months more than others. Some times months before she is at it again. She's been to numerous vet appointments with no worries or indication that it is anything other than an itch. Its kind of like when we women have an itch, you know down there and unlike a man who just goes for it, junk in hand. We with our dignity in tact do the little wiggle dance. Well I would imagine it is the same with our pups who by the way have no fingers to itch with. DH tells her to "Quit molesting the carpet"

| Rhonda didn't you get some new grooming products? Maybe could be a tad of irritation from that??? IDK I am just grasping because I have no clue. Let us know what the vet says.

| I did. But the shampoo is an anti itch one. So I honestly don't think that is it. She hasn't done it at all this morning. I don't know. Maybe it was like Dawn said, just an itch. DH did just mow the grass. Hmmmmm.... I'm going to watch her. If she does it again we will get hold of the vet. Thanks everyone!
