I usually let my pups do it a couple times, but if I notice it's happening frequently... I take them in. It is usually the anal glands needing expressed.

Glad to hear she hasn't done it again. My boys are almost afraid to scratch in front of me because they know I'll put them on the counter and start examining them head to toe, lol.
