I believe Max is back to 100% -- barking, drinking water and eating hard food again, good poopies. Makes me think the stuff on the CET chew irritated or burned his throat and/or he snorted something up his nose. The exorcist like sneezes seemed to have helped him.

I'm so glad the little man is back to himself! No more CET chews!! You must have something else in that doggie boutique for him.

| You beat me, I was just about to visit your profile page. Thank you. Such a bummer about the chews. Dad bought the bag Saturday morning at our regular vet's office because it was raining and the guys couldn't go outside. No food items in our boutique, lol.

| Back at the vet today A week after our trip to the ER, Max is still having fits of hard swallowing when he barks. He can walk a brisk 3 miles without problem and everything else is normal. I took him back to the doctor today and he gave us a couple meds to treat infection and inflammation. If this doesn't solve the problem, the doctor is going to sedate Max to take a deeper look into his throat. Max and I would appreciate positive thoughts that the meds will do the trick.
