Back at the vet today A week after our trip to the ER, Max is still having fits of hard swallowing when he barks. He can walk a brisk 3 miles without problem and everything else is normal. I took him back to the doctor today and he gave us a couple meds to treat infection and inflammation. If this doesn't solve the problem, the doctor is going to sedate Max to take a deeper look into his throat. Max and I would appreciate positive thoughts that the meds will do the trick. |
